Born in the early 1990s and based in Kraków, Tomasz Okarmus is a Polish actor whose career spans theatre, television, and film.
Standing at a striking 191 cm with a well-toned athletic build, his artistic blend of physical presence and precise emotional delivery is rooted in strong theatrical training, honed in companies such as Teatr Maska in Skawina and Graciarnia in Kraków.
Proficient in English and German, he also brings skills in pantomime, singing, guitar, and percussion—attributes that enrich his versatility on stage and screen.
Tomasz has appeared in Polish television with recurring roles in serialized dramas. He portrayed Sergeant Antoni Godula in multiple episodes of the popular series 48 h. Zaginieni between 2021 and 2023, and appeared as Przemek in an episode of Na sygnale in 2023. In cinema, he has credits including the short film Krzesło dla Eliasza released in 2023.
In 2025, Tomasz joined KITE — Kraków Independent Theatre Expats, making his debut in the English-language play Between Heaven and Earth, staged on April 11 at the Dworek Białoprądnicki Cultural Centre in Kraków (karnet.krakowculture.pl). In this intense, hour-long drama directed by Zien Rashad, a malfunctioning elevator traps four individuals, including a dispassionate lawyer. Tomasz took on this pivotal role. Critically, his portrayal anchored the play’s exploration of justice, war, guilt, and survival; the lawyer’s moral detachment and emotional tension provided a stark counterpoint to the other characters, heightening the moral claustrophobia at the heart of the piece.
Parallel to his adult-oriented theatre and screen work, Tomasz has also become a beloved performer in Kraków’s children’s theatre scene. He collaborates with Teatr Miś, appearing in colorful, family-friendly productions such as Jak Adaś uratował święta and Smok z jednym okiem. These engaging plays, rich in moral storytelling and imaginative settings, showcase Tomasz’s ability to connect with young audiences through warmth, humor, and physical storytelling. His ease on stage and expressive clarity make him a natural fit for children’s theatre, where emotional accessibility and sincerity are paramount.
Whether embodying silence or delivering emotionally charged dialogue, Tomasz Okarmus is an actor of integrity and discipline—capable of holding the audience with stillness as much as with voice. His performances carry a subtle gravitational pull, often defined by a moral or emotional tension beneath a composed surface. Equally at home in complex adult drama and joyful children's theatre, he brings not only presence but depth: a performer who understands that real connection lies not only in what is said, but in how it is shared—across ages, genres, and languages.
